It's $50 a year, but worth it, lot of cool features.

ive been mostly playing crimson skies for the past week or so and now that i picked up rainbow 6 im sure ill be playing that a lot. i'll still be playing island thunder a few times a week though. my gamertag is LGX

supernav, its worth it if you are into shooters, sports, and racing games because thats pretty much all it has right now. no online real time strategy games or rpgs yet, but there are a few scheduled for next year.

Always find cover, move from tree to tree, building to building, etc,etc, scan the horizon, keep in constant communication with your team.

The thing some game developers are doing (I'm sure they are persuaded by Microsoft) is that they are only putting 80% or so of the games on the cd when you buy them. Then the 'rest' of the game is available ONLY from Xbox Live (download).

This pisses me off. They say the download stuff is only a 'Bonus' for Live subscribers, but it's kinda obvious when some games like Conflict Desert Storm has a shitty ending, until you play the remaining maps from download.

Those greedy bastards, now I'm gonna have to get broadband & live.

Depends on what you like.

it's mostly 1st person shooters and sports now atleast that's all I play.

Unreal championship type games=fast and fuious


Rainbow 6 and ghost recon= more strategy and a little slower paced.

Rainbow six 3 is a good game, it's fun as hell online and actually fun offline, comanding you team via voice commands is cool.

i might rent rainbow 6. i highly doubt ANYTHING right now can beat the fun of Ghost Recon Island Thunder. I wish they'd come out with more levels and maps for that game though.

The more I play R6 the more I like it, even more than ghost recon.

Playing it offline is fun also, since you can use the headset to issue voice commands to your team.
