Anyone pay for Kazaa??

I cannot download the free version b/c it just destroys my computer with pop-ups and then begins to set my home page to random porno sites. I was thinking of paying for it ($20 a year I think), but don't trust that the pay version has no advertising.

Kazaa and Imesh are just a pain in the ass. Never had any problems with Kazaa Lite.

has much broader range of music than kazaa

i use emule to download entire discographies. it's pretty sweet for big shit like that and movies.

kazaa lite has been disappointing as of late. everyone got scared and turned off sharing it seems. i guess it's alright if you're looking for pop music, but i never look for that shit so i have no idea.

There is no reason for anyone outside of America to be scared of sharing of listing files. Only the RIAA are currently pursuing their pointless litigation against kazaa users.. even in AMerica, the chances of you being taking to court are low.. obviously the risk increases if you share a lot of mainstream popular music i.e. Britnety etc.

Kazaa is the best for movies IMO. It is very fast to get films from kazaa... kazaa is good for music, but doesn't come close to soulseek for the shear volume and breadth of high quality files..
