Anyone own a Tacoma???

thinking of buying a tacoma, anyone own one? And if so, what do you think of it?



any input is appreciated!!!!:)
 
My brother has one, awesome truck.

I was looking to buy a truck at one point earlier in the year, I looked over consumer reports, surveys and everything else. Toyota trucks are BY FAR the most reliable trucks. They are built to last.

Buy the truck, they are solid machines.

My buddy has one. Thing runs great. They do last forever. Toyotas are all like that. They are fucking cheap (relatively) as well.
 
It comes down to whether you want something that sounds mean like a Ford or Dodge, or something a little more modest that will last forever.

My bro put big tires and a grill on his tacoma, looks mean, just doesn't have the deep rumbling exhaust.
 
I got a Tacoma SR5 ext cab v-6 4x4 that I bought new in 98.Its got a little over 50k with zero problems.

Like the other posters said its a good truck with a high resale value.
 
How are they for towing? Does anyone know?
 
i have had 2 Toys and looking to buy my third which will be a Tacoma. My friend has one and he put a Borla exhaust, and modified the air box including a K&N, and got rubber in 3 gears. They cannot be beat for reliability, and that 3.4 engine kicks ass over all other small truck engines including gas mileage. Plus they are easy to lift. Plus, pull up the blue book or NADA for Toys vs. Chevy, Ford, and they hold their value.
 
My dad has one he doesnt tow anything but not one problem in the two years he has had it. Tundras will run.....

I had a black 97' tacoma 4 wheel drive( the only way to go with a tacoma.

I would definitely recommend this truck , it is bad ass off road , good on gas, looks sharp and drives well on the highway. I could get it up to 105mph. Never had any problems with it(had it for 2 years) and regret selling it, but i was sick of the single cab.

The Tundra with the V-8 will haul ass! The V-6 in the Tacoma is no slouch either.
