I used to live in Houston, still have alot of family there. Its closer to 10 or 12 hours to the boarder btw...

Its 350 miles to Laredo from Houston, made the trip a dozen time in the mid 90's..About 7 hours or so depending on traffic, and the way you drive..

about 3 hours driving normally. I have made it in 2hours 25 minutes. I won't do that again. I was stressed for a couple of hours afterwards. The speed does not bug me as much as the the thought of a ticket at 145mph. Thirty min not worth the mega dollar ticket.
