My Mom Teaches Kindergarten .

she loves it.

She has a masters in child Psychology and Elementary education.

Working On her Phd now.

Shes awesome.

No, I have a few relatives who are though, and my mom used to be (she is still in Education now, but not teaching). I'm doing a Bachelor of Education now, but I'm planning to go the intermediate/senior route (grades 7 - 12), as opposed to the primary/junior (K - 6) route.

My gf is teaching 6th grade right now and she really doesn't like that age group. 2nd grade was her favorite. She really likes kids and enjoys teaching them if they listen. 6th graders seem to think a little to highly of themselves. The degree itself is somewhat intense. A 100 page portfolio on theories and such was her ending project. She's a brilliant woman graduating magna cum lade(sp?...lol) this spring and I'm happy to have her. Teachers make the difference!
