I have mine pierced, I love it. Its deffenetly different, not to many people have them. I have 20 different spikes and balls. When you take it out there is only a tiny holy, not even noticable.

mine aren't that big, have had the same gold loops since 1988. Yes that makes me older but not as old as Oldin

i had a labret, loved it, consier it a hardcore piercing, right up there with genital piercing. with a black niobium ball, it blended in with my goatee so well you had to look close to see it was there; complimented my 4 gauge flesh tunnell ear lobes well. it was a painless piercing, no swelling and healed up very quickly. i was quite happy with it and proud of it.

unfortunately, many people, those past the age of 35 or so or those in positions of authority (bosses, supervisors, parents) are not very accepting of a labret. i received so much shit from people around me that i caved it and removed it. (mistake! wish i wudda kept it!) those who are conservative and narrow minded and ridgid in their thinking will give you hell for having one. if you meet and greet the public in your job it may cause a problem.

since you have posted pics from BME (great info source on tattooing and piercing!), you have read the experiences and know about the possibilities of gum and teeth enamel problems. proper placement from an experienced piercer is a MUST.

I thought about having it done. Never did though. I also want my lip done. In them middle though. I hate when I see it on the side. It's all ... unproportional or something ...
