Anyone have a UTILITY QUAD?

i'm looking to get one. interested in the honda forman 450S. anyone have any thoughts?

grizz is cool, but 660 or whatever it is is too big.

plus i dont want an auto, its gotta be foot shift

I thought the same thing about the auto, but after riding it once I quickly changed my mind. Ive had other quads that werent auto and this blows them away, the horse power is unbelievable. But, it comes down to what you are using it for. I use it for hunting, around the farm, take it to the mountains, and joy riding. I can do alot of shit with this quad that I can do with smaller quads.

yea i've herd that, i just like the fun of shifting.

i'll be using it mainly for fun, hunting and a lil work. mostly deep mud and h2o though

I think I test drove a Honda Foreman that was an electronic shifter. Shift with buttons on the handle.

If i remember correctly the foreman wasnt very powerful and was a very stiff ride.

its a tough choice really.... they are all basically on a equal playing field these days.

not sure about the power, but its suppossed to be a fairly reliable machine.

the big bear 400 (my other choice) [as you can see i'm looking mid-size] on the other hand is suppossed to be slow as fuck.

Just make sure you test drive a few before purchasing. You dont want to purchase one then want to get something else a year later.

that sucks man, I have the advantage of knowing a lot of friends that own different quads. My next quad is going to the Warrior, my buddy has it and I ride it all the time, its just a different style then mine, smaller, faster, and more mobile.

just go to the Yamaha website and check them out. The Raptor is amazing, just a little too expensive for my taste.
