Its when you put the disk in.........it say ipod need to be formatted, then it takes like over an hour to respond..finally I shut it down and need some help......something isnt right..........

Also, got a good case reccomendation?

ok...now the left hand side when I open itunes reads DATA and all the songs i have imported are grayed out.....can you PULLLEEEHHHZZEE help?? Huge K to anyone..

take it to Best Buy, exchange it for another (working) Ipod and buy the extended warranty. Best Buy has a no receipt needed policy for about a week or two after the hollidays, as long as they carry it they'll exchange it for you.

It works bro...just having trouble transfering music for Itunes to my ipod.....

The ipod needs to format when you buy an apple ipod (not HP ipod) and try to use it on a windows machine

Heres the deal......Jeff's Ipod shows up in Itunes, when I click on it, it shows about 250 songs....when I unplug it and scroll through the music, nothing appears, so the transfer isnt working.....bypassed the formatting step with the instructions of phone help...if any of you have instant messenger AOL and can assist me, I'll owe you big time.....a big fat x-mas present!!!
