I am going to be there on the first week of January, and want to know if there are any good bars there. I will be there for a few days, to take some offshore training classes. Thinking about staying at the Days INN, anyone have any opinions about it? Or where is the best place to stay. Any replies will be greatly appreciated.

I haven't been offshore yet. Basic survival and rig safety stuff? Do they still train everyone as firefighters?

Production Safety Systems (T-2)and water survival/huet training. Never been offshore, I'm overseas right now working, as safety/environmental.
