This is odd, I purchased my 3rd pair last Saturday, they last about 9 months, I use them for single DB rows and seated shrugs. They are pretty solid tools for lifting. Mine are called "hookers" though. peace
I have found this to be untrue, on certain exercises they hinder movement, where straps are more versatile, in the movements I use them for (hookers) it is a very limited motion so they work well or better than straps in those cases. peace
By better - I meant less strain on the actual wrist - not to mention less blood brusies....you are certainly right though about the straps being more functional on certain exercises....
