Anyone ever cut there eye?

Ive got a cut around one side of my iris, its purplish and causes that side of my eye to be bloodshot. ANyone ever had this? did it go away, or did u need medecine?

I had acid splashed into my eye once.
No medicine, had some scar tissue removed from it after it healed.

Have bad sight in it now, but not too bad.

I burned my eye fucking around with matches as a boy. I had to get a needle in my eye to numb it and the doc had to remove the sulpher from the burn. It was right next to the iris but it didn't result in any vision loss. I had to wear patches on both eyes for two days. The reason both eyes were patched is because both eyes move together and the movement of the good eye would cause the bad eye to move. I have a first hand look at what it is like to be blind and do not take vision for granted.

Austin, I get that all the time (well, not ALL the time...but you catch my drift), because I forget and fall asleep in my contacts. They end up scratching my eyeballs.

Let me be the first to tell you that you need to go to the eye doctor. It usually will not get better on it's own. Not going to the doctor means you are risking getting an infection and ultimately you could lose your site if it ever got serious enough. So...GO to the doc!

mine is just a scratch, but its visible and irritating as fuck. Better then being burned or acid

Hey Austin!! Yeah, I agree with Night... get to the eye doctor!! They'll give you some numbing drops. I cut mine recently with a torn contact. Not a fun time!!

They should give you some drops for pain (the numbing drops) and also an antibiotic drop. It will get better in a few days.

What the hell is happening in that photo?

I had my contacts wear away a little of the whiteness of my eye, so it looks like I have a dark scratch on my eye (actually exposed blood vessels). I thought I had eye cancer or something, but the eye doctor person said its nothing to be worried about. Except for the fact that IT NEVER GOES AWAY AND I WILL FOREVER BE THOUGHT OF AS A FREAK IN TODAY'S SOCIETY.

Luckily my eyes are squinty as well, so you can't really see it.

If you have the same thing, you're stuck with it.. FOREVER!!!!!! Muahahaha..

Nope...no patches...but if you wear contacts you probably won't be able to wear them for about a week or so. That's it.
