I worked for JCPenney Loss Prevention in Atlanta about a year ago. Now that was some fun shit, it was even more fun when the fucker would decide he wanted to run!! OMG best adrenaline rush i've ever had was working for them doing that.

If you're gonna be a rent-a-cop -- why not make it official,do the 2 month training, and be a *real* cop? Never understood that.

I wish thats all it took to be a real cop around where I live. Cops on Long island, NY make serious cash.

i'm a guard at our state's mental hospital and a bouncer on the weekends.

a fellow guard's wife just told us about a staff member that works at the hospital. she works at JC Penny's and he's known there as Mr. Panties. they have had to run him out of the store 4 different times for smelling women's panties that are 4 sale and apparently he also wears them. he bent over and had some pink lacies on, or so says his wife. some funny shit

The reason. It's very difficult to get hired. They probably hire 1 out of every 100 applicants. I was hired for the city of Dallas as a police officer a few years back. Passed all the exams and the oral board and was set to go to work. I had serious second thoughts about it. I felt that I was fixing to make a big mistake. I failed the MMPI after I had already signed the papers to take the job. It's an assessment of your personality traits. Quite a few people fail that test. I would have had serious trouble enforcing laws that I do not believe in, such as smoking marijuana. I'm glad that I failed the test.

I agree 100%, do the two months training, then you will be able to shoot them.. why waist the energy running after them when a bullet it so much faster then you :D

I work security. Its a dead end job.

It's overpopulated with minorities. The dumb ones with something to prove. I'm just glad, I never snapped and killed my ex-boss, I swear he deserved it. On the other hand there are several low stress security jobs that I could do for a lifetime if I could make enough money. You can read all night and take it easy. Perfect job for my buddy Cas.

I work one of the low paying security jobs you speak of. Its easy but pays shit. I tend to notice as well that the lower end jobs seem to have horrible management. I guess that can be said anywhere though. I hear you on the low stess jobs. If they just paid enough I would do it for a long time. What kind of security are you in? I have always believed this to be a job for retired people though. Thats what I mainly work with. Just don't see much of a future in it though.

There's no future in it. Some people don't seem to care though. They are satisfied with barely getting by. I work corporate security. Lots of beautiful women to look at but way too much bullshit to put up with. I only work weekends now that I'm going back to school. I like it much better. Quiet and peaceful. I can finally talk to myself again.

definately no future in it...the people i work with are either 60 years of age or older or college students like me...i make 10 bones and hour guarding a contractors office.
