it's taking a little getting used to but i'm diggin it the most. it does run a little slow doing some certain things, and not all of my old programs work but it'll do for now :supercool

office 2007 is pretty cool too

I thought about it but I think the specs to run it are to freaking high.

min memoy 1gig
you just about have to have a nice video card(that's straight bullshit there)

Welcome to MAC's OS circa '99 it is nothing special. I think they got in with the memory manufactures on this min 512 just to run the dam os. :nerd:

Not to mention the graphics card makers.

I have a Nvidia geforce 4 something and the upgrade advisor says I need a better video card to run it properly, this is the os, not a intensive videogame.

administrative security requests are frequent and a bit annoying, but ain't no shit gonna be happening without you knowing i guess either

yep beta2. very stable. just a bit slow, but it is beta

Sorry - didn't see the others posts or yours before I replied. Yes, those security requests have to be annoying, because Windows had never been secure. People are not going to be used to a more 'secure' Windows environment now that they are trying to make it so.

Peoples are gonna be bitchin. :)

Well its not what you see that makes it so good, the improvements to the driver architecture, deployment methodology and memory managers are what makes it so good.

You guys wouldnt beleive some of the things we have done with Windows XP.. Vista will give us 100 times the flexibility.
