sounds like a story line for "JAG", that tv show with that skinny dude with the three first names.

i wish they would show his co-star, catherene bell (?) with a tighter marine uniform.

Some retired service member was on the today show this morning running his mouth about how he had inside info that recently a mission went poorly and several delta force members died...12 was what he was saying.

Katie was asking him why the goverment wasn't sharing this info.

Anyway..seemed off...but totally possible with what we are going thru at the moment.

From MSNBC:

"TRICKY ASSAULT ON COMPOUND?
In a separate development, Myers and Army Gen. Tommy Franks, commander of U.S. forces in the war, took issue with a report in The New Yorker that 12 members of a Delta Force special operations team were injured — three seriously — in a raid Oct. 20 of a house used by Taliban leader Mullah Mohammed Omar.
Some “had scratches and bumps and knocks from rocks ... so it’s probably accurate to say that maybe five or maybe 25 people were ‘wounded,’” Franks said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week.” “We had no one wounded by enemy fire, and I think that is probably worthwhile noting.”
Myers said on “Meet the Press” that the Taliban fighters were in disarray, and “our soldiers simply overwhelmed them.
Omar was not at the home, and defense sources have told reporters little valuable information was recovered."

they have a movie coming out about that called "black hawk down."

smalls, if your talking about a more recent mission, then the pentagon is saying the report that special forces members were seriously wounded by enemy fire is completely false.
