Anyone else having severely delayed international packages recently?

I don't know if it's because of heavy US/Europe summer travel or due to the olympics ending, but I had an expedited international parcel sent about 14 days ago from western europe, and tracking says "Received at JFK International on 8/10". Usually turnaround time for me has always been 5-7 business days max. Why would something sit at a NY airport for over a week without any update? I've never had a seizure, let alone any delay of more than a day or two. My guess is that it got snagged (would be the first time ironically). I'm really pissed off about it. Has anyone else been having any delays or similar issues on the east coast?

I had the same issue a while ago with a package coming from the uk. It sat in NY customs for over a week before it finaly started heading my way. I was relieved to see it had started moving again.

If it gets seized it will tell u on the tracking update. I've had packages sit at jfk a week before release.

That's odd that items can sit in major hub airports for upwards of a week before moving on, usually they say 7 business days max to anywhere in the world for this carrier. For standard parcel from china or india I would understand waiting for 4-6 weeks, but not for inbound and tracked euro parcels (I think I waited 8 weeks once for some cabaser a few years ago which was ridiculous). I do domestic too, but sometimes lab grade is just the way to go, sick of the occasional underdosed UG crap. I didn't know they do update on tracking if the item is seized, thanks for that tip noodles

Your fine brojust had one sit there from 8/7/to 8/17/ before it released..ive only had one seized ever..it never updated on site..had one come 3 Weeks ago was only in NY 1 day..this one was over a week

Mine just came and it took about two weeks cuz. From JFK to its new home >: )
