Anyone been to Barcelona?

Off to Barcelona for a week...any suggestions on cool things to do there?

its alright..there's one street in particular where all the partying goes on at night.forgot what that street's called...it's near downtown..

then, there's this town square thing where people congregate at night and eat and drink.

if i were you, i'd go to barcelona for a few days, then go take a train to some other city, like Madrid or Sevilla.

I think that's where i'm staying. Las Ramblas it's called. We were thinking of going to Madrid but though it'd be nicer to go to a big city that was also coastal.

ya, Las Ramblas is where it's at...

plenty of great food around there. cool places to drink. beware of the prostitutes..dont go into dark alleys alone,,it can be dangerous.

barcelona's a great city,but it's one of the least European-like citites i've been to.

the people there can be rude, in contrast to the friendliness you'll see in southern Spain.

Catch the live sex shows at Bagdad, madness, it is, it's in the La Rambla section of town.

But I haven't been to Barcelona since late 1991, so things may have changed.

I remember the Guardia Civil arresting my best friend because he decided in his biker attire, to sneak into the unfinished Barcelona Olympic stadium and run the track.

Do not piss with the Guardia Civil.

Been before and going again in march!
A fantastic city, The Ramblas is a great place full of bars, nice restaraunts and hookers (especially trannys) At the end of the Ramblas at the port there are a couple of clubs which were cool and all the Gaudi buildings are breath taking even if your not into that kinda thing.

Oh and the old olympic stadium is cool to visit.

You'll love it, Cant wait to get back ther myself

Check out a chuch by a guy named Gaudi. He did a bunch of other stuff in the area too. Cool wacked out acid trip looking stuff.
