I would like to open one and need some info.
Anybody here own a supplements store?

What does it take to open a business like this? Do I have to have a college education? Do I need to go to business school? Who do I go to to help me open or teach how to run it etc etc?
yep...sports nutrition and tanning in South Jersey.
supplement...no pun intended...your nutrition sales with something else like tanning or personal training/diets...the margin on supplements is nil right now, you can get just about anything like EAS, Met-rx etc in any 7-11( I actually sell to 7-11's in my area), Wal-Mart, etc. Not to mention the Internet. Add to that the ban on Ephedra and now the big to do with andro and...did you say you want to get into supplement sales?
kidding, you can make decent money..I'l sell everything practically at wholesale and whine may way to back end discounts....low carb is in as are bars...detour one week, tri-o-plex the next...have to be careful because bars have a nuch shorter shelf life than other products...
hearing runors that E.A.S will file chapter 11 by the end of the year, a deal with Hershey Foods apparently fell through....tough environment right now.
