Anybody ever been on Elavil

Doc just prescribed it to me for anxiety/depression. I feel allot better now, but I'm wondering how it's going to react to gear. Any experiences appreciated

There was just a thread on this a day or two ago. Some side effects of elavil include gyno, hairloss, changes in sex drive, HBP, water retention, heart attack. I got this info from the 2001 PDR. Although it did not state so in the PDR I would assume that elavil either lowers test or raises estrogen or both. I would think anabolic steroids may offset some of the negative effects of elavil. You need to watch and moniter your bp and not use gear that bloats you also I would suggest arimidex at .5 mg a day. In my opinion there are better antidepressents around than elavil with is primarily a migrine and anti seziure drug. I mean elavil is ancient as far as treatment for anxiety and depression goes. How old was your doctor? Good luck bro.

Once again thanks for the reply liftsiron. Doc's a young guy I really don't know why he prescribed Elavil over one of the newer antidepressants. But it completely eliminated my anxiety and I'm sleeping alot better so no complaints here.

One more thing the PDR lists every possible side effect possible, that doesn't mean that you will be troubled by any
