Any Real people out there?

Is there any one person in this world who does not live his life to impress others and come across as something he is not?

Anybody who has his personal reasons for what he or she finds normal or acceptable and thinks for themself?

Overcame shame and pretention?
Completely natural to you to be yourself at any time to anyone?
Not doublethinking constantly to anticipate on peoples perception of you?

It seems most people live in this facade to fill that spot in society they want.

Some people would consider these the criteria for a real asshole. Others would considre them the criteria for a real moron. People are real you're just seeing them all through your prejudicial eyes and saying this is real and everything else is fake.

we're all real on this board.....

we just all happen to be 6ft foot tall, have 4% bodyfat, a 12 inch cock, 150 IQ, 5 different degrees, 20 hot girl friends, a few million in the bank account, and are able to bench 600 lbs....

Nobody is without some degree of neurosis. Nobody. We are all wrapped is many levels of behavior and motivation. From time to time this will manifest in behavior contrary to our "core." This is true for all people.

*Real* is a construct of the human mind; an invention to help us impose definition on the natural forces around us -- so that, in our limited wisdom, we may ascribe meaning to our plastic existence.

*Real* is intangible, it is a vague concept of the collective, easily altered by perception, which may or may not coincide with facts. While there is a general reality, predicated on the commonalities of the majority, there is no finite reality. Finite reality is beyond our grasp.

I do, however, feel the sentiment of your question. From my perspective, a lot of people (the majority of people I know/know of) live in a way that isn't congruent with my values or belief system. I'm sure they feel the same way about me.

Good observation in that reality as we percieve it is a human construct.
