any point getting a second insulin spike

guys,

i love getting a high GI carb hit postwork in my shake, and most of us would agree that as insulin is so anabolic its great (essential even) to get full growth potential after a workout.

my question is whether there is any point taking another hit of high GI carbs- sugars or jelly beans or something or just chocolcate milk etc) to get a second insulin spike later that day or before bed.

does anyone do this, or is it only work spiking during the anabolic window pwo

any ideas

cheers

The best time to spike insulin levels are when your muscles are craving nutrients, the best times are first thing in the morning and post work after you have taxed them.
The rest of your meals should be low gi good carbs imo to maintain blood sugar levels and avoid unwanted fat gain.
also chocolate milk before bed is probably the best way to get fat, throw in some pizza and vola!
