any one ever done "liquid days"

one srategy that my ex boss did ( he was 3 place Mr California in the 80's early 90's was Liquid days

he would be ona alow carb diet and he would get all his nutrition from proiten liquids, and some carb liquids

he would not do this every day just like once every 2-3 days


what do you think?

I dont' see the difference; either way you take in the same calories, whether it's solid or liquid. This liquid diet is just a fad diet that died in the past. BTW...it will not provide more results than any other diet...but you might get hungry more oftern, making you eat more times a day....

Yes, I have "competed"...but way back when.....no longer would I put my body under such stress...if you wish to know I never lost a show and can in first and overall I think about 8 times, but that was back in the day. I don't pretend now, I look like a shadow of my old self.

I eat a balanced diet if I want, usually 40%protein/20%carbs/40%fat ...or I'll do 30/30/40...sometimes I go for 50/10/40....
If I want to get down to 5%bf, I'll start a bodyopus...

I said if I want to get down to a low bf, I'll do bodyopus...bodyopus is CKD, just another name for it.

of course it's good to get ready for a show, probably one of the best

actually, most natural bodybuilders that i know opt for some sort of keto diet, because of its protein( muscle) sparring qualities. Plus the traditional high, high protein( 2grmsx bodyweight, by the way excess protein turns right into glucouse) with like 100 carbs a day,1500 cal, low calorie diet went out way back when . overall it just makes sense. Mr.X posts post some very informative articles on tkd,mkd( which is pretty dangerous) and CKD's. Im using a CKD for my upcoming contest.
