Any one else take Provigil? Cassavant?

I'm on it now to counter act the sleepiness of Lexapro. My god I feel like I'm on crank! Its for narcoleptics to keep them awake during the day. Yesaterday was the first time I took it and I got so much work done, and it makes you not hungrey.

It is specifically to help with concentration. And no, so far I'm not jittery at all. Just pleasantly energized. I usually can't handle any kind of stimulant. I couldn't even take welbutrin. Thats why the dr gave me this instead of ritilin,adderal... Also it wears off by evening so you can sleep at night. When I was researching it on-line to check for sides, there were all kinds of sites where you can buy it. Do a google search.

I'm taking 100mg/half of of 200mg tab. I'm handling it quiet well I'm thinking if 100 feels this good what must 200 feel like?

yeah no doubt about it, provigil is good shit. I have the 200mg. tabs and they usually light me up pretty good. If I take it too late in the day it will keep me up half the night but if I take it around 9 or so I am set.

I never felt any type of euphoria on it. It did keep me awake at night when I took it as an alertness aid. I never got any jittery feelings from it either. I would say it did a decent job increasing my concentration also.

same here, no euphoria but definitely stimulated. i really don't get jittery from it either although sometimes i will get really tense if i've been taking too much or for too long without sleep.

WOW! You guys are lucky. Here in the UK Im on an average dose of Paxil, which is 20mg, and you guys are taking 200?! No wonder its not doing anything! Im gonna try stacking it with some 5-htp. Does anyone know why they prescribe so little of this stuff in the UK?

Provigil is not Paxil. They are two completely different drugs.

Be very careful combining 5htp with your paxil. Start with 25mgs. and work your way up. Also make sure you tell your doctor you are doing that-he will need to know.
