unless you have a lab, and mucho expertise, dont even think about it
purifying can be a bitch

Hell yeah, purrifying is difficult ,especially withought good o-chem equipment, i always have impure products with low yield. I wouldnt take anything i made withought running it through IR or Gas Chromo to make sure i knew what i was taking was pure.

Made my own a few times and it worked great. But altering for traceability is going to take some big time cash in equipment and testing outlays
