Well im still in Arizona, only as a visitor.... I WANT to stay here to live and work and am wondering if the ONLY real option is marriage to a US citizen.

Are there any canadians or other citizens currently residing in the US?

A friend of mine got her boyfriend into the U.S. from Canada. on a permanent basis. What a hassle. They were very concerned about his work skills. They treated him like an unemployed Mexican fruitpicker when he was a skilled jeweler. Took about 2
years of paperwork..

I remember hearing somewhere that you can become an American citizen if your work skills are "special," I think what it means, is that your job must be very detailed and specific. An example that comes to mind are professional hockey players. All the good ones are CANADIAN (heheh) and because of their profession, are allowed dual citizenship.

I could be wrong though.
