that can be linked to me would be appreciated.
I can train myslef and have gone thru countless amt of training for my certification... but still you have that one person that just doesn't get the mind/muscle association.
I personally learned every muscle and how they work... that helped me alot. I went to the public library and checked out anatomy books and such. Did my own research, beings I didn't have a 24/7 trainer... though I did get alot of help here... shadow, quadsweepsister, sassy, chefwide, etc...
I still had to train alone and learn how my muscles work... with every exercise. TUT, exaustion, poor form, etc....
I'm not training some one right now... more of just working with her and hitting a brick wall because she has no idea what muscle does what and i find she overcompensates for the weakness in one to help the other.
I know this weakness and therfore our training is just independant weights... very seldom we do any machine work. She thought her left side was the weaker side, but today we learned that when doing bicep work her right side was weaker.
so... I'd love any website that will pinpoint different muscle groups... for a newbee... to break it down and show what muscle you should focus on whilst preforming a certain exercise. I've been very fortunate that I can focus my energy on that exercise and nothing else because I know what particular muscle im working... but she's more visual.
k... to all that give solid advice
Sassy, Shadow, .... i know you two will gimme the bread and butter
