Its not FDA approved. Never been proven to work against airborn anthrax. When it first came out they said you WILL take all 6 shots in a set order. Then the company had problems and tried to get the DOD to give them more money. Now that they are short on tha vaccine they say thats it ok to take one shot and wait up to a year before the next one. Before I was 6 shots in 18 months now its just whenever you get it. I like how they just guess at how much you need and how effective it is based on the amount in the supply system.
I've had first three over two years ago. And to this day I have lost some feeling in the lower part of my left arm. That arm got two shot. Doc say it was nerve damage. I don't trust them.
If this shit f*cks up any kids I might have I'll put my training to good use.

I got my series in early '97 while deployed and ever since I have been lethargic more than I ever have been in my life. I have heard this is a common side to. I don't think I just became lazy over night and stayed that way. Ryker, i also had a buddy who's arm got fucked up from the shots.

Just take penacillan (sp), it will kill 99% of all anthrax forms. The US and Russia are the only known countries to have a form that is not affected by penacillan, and for that strain you need cipro. Plus cipro hasn't been tested in animals, let alone humans and everyone just assumes that there are no long term side effects. I know that cipro is used for other things in the US, but penacillan would be a better choice.

DONT USE ANTI-BIs unless you have an infection and dont buy them unless you need them. They are serious drugs, and drug resistance is something nobody wants.

FYI--If the anthrax being spread around is from US or Russian inventories, we're fucked. Cipro will not work, nor will penicillin, etc. These weapons have resistance genes inserted into their genome so they cannot be killed by antibiotics. Since people are surviving after being exposed, my bet is that this is the product of some amateur psychos (Iraq, KKK, etc)

Listen to bigrand. Every time you get a cough you may ask "Do I have anthrax?" Oh well fuck it, I'll just take my Ciprofloxacin. no problem. Except you don't have anthrax and other germs in you will become resistant. You are wasting money by buying it. If you get anthrax, believe me, you will get antibiotics at the hospital.

As far as the vaccine goes, I got it in 1994 when I was in Special Operations. No one I knew got fucked up from it. Just because you have an arm problem or malaise, doesn't automatically mean the vaccine is the culprit. It could be a zillion different causes. BTW-the vaccine doesn't work against the "amatuer" strain. The vaccine is geared to the military version of it, not the strain built in Cooter's garage.

Hell yeah Bigrand, I don't even consider antibiotics unless I'm coughing up a lung. Why risk drug resistance? I've had numerous hantavirus cases around where I live but I'm not running screaming to the doc I need antibiotics. I agree with being somewhat paranoid but it pisses me off to see how much anthrax vaccine scripts have gone up! Damn why the fuck don't these doctors wait till there is at least SOME proof someone is affected before prescribing? Oh well, our fine health care system at work once again...

alright bro's, i have been doing some research on anthrax and i found that garlic is a better antibiotic then penicillin. i have been eating fresh cut garlic on everything. so i suggest that if you guys are as paranoid about this anthrax shit as i am, go eat some garlic. don't wont bore you with the details but go read this link
