This makes 7 attacks in 4 days. And can you believe that people are still GOING INTO THOSE WATERS. They all happened at New Smryna Beach.

I used to vacation there every year as a kid. But worldwide, shark attacks are about normal this year. Only media coverage has increased.

But no way am I swimming at New Symrna again.

It has become some stupid macho thing now.
People daring each other to go out.
Makes you wonder how some people made
it this far in life?

shit, how would you feel if you dared someone to go in and next thing you know your watching them get pulled under :bawling:

How far out do these people go? Jeez... I went to the beach this weekend and only went out until my feet barely reached the ground. What's the point of going farther?

Blame the people not the sharks.

The Best surfing in New Smyrna is at the Jetty's at Ponce Inlet.
This is the area where a lot of the attacks are happening.

The Inlet draws sharks.. always has..

I remember people talking about that when I was there as a kid. They always talked about the sharks at the Jetty.

People are seeing small black tip sharks 2 ft or so in less than knee deep water.
Larger Bull sharks are coming into shallow water to feed.
Where the breakers/surfers are, the water is barely 6ft deep
