Another thing to remember about the Mod Board

...IMO - the MOST important thing that goes on, is the constant source checks etc that we do for members. We get together and compare notes on the requests that we have gotten. Confirmation is done via e-mail 99% of the time, but the name and is usually mentioned.


This is THE reason we all should be concerned with the leak that we seem to have. EVERYONE on the Anabolic Board and on the Chat board who use performing enhancing products and even those who use recreational substances can be affected by this leak.


I would be open to suggestions on how to make the relations between "US" and "YOU" better.

I think:

1 - Mods should pm or post WHY a thread is being altered

2 - I think ALL mods should post, at least occasionally

3 - Term limits would be fine with me. Members could have some say in who, in their opinion, is doing a fair job and who is not. Seems fair.

4 - I totally think that a thread should not be taken down simply because a mod does not AGREE with what is being discussed. That type of censorship has gotta go.

The rule is there to protect against injuries in a league where everyone may not have the best control. If you hit 3 in an inning or 4 for the game, you have to be removed from the mound.

3 - Term limits would be fine with me. Members could have some say in who, in their opinion, is doing a fair job and who is not. Seems fair.

If you head down the "this is offensive" road therefore it will be locked/deleted, the slippery slope is that there is no chat board at all.

But the Terms of Service on this board clearly states that racism is not acceptable. And the mods have this blind eye to EYEPEE but if some white supremist came on and used hateful rhetoric, he/she would be banned.

We need consistant moderation, or none at all. This board was awesome when there were no chat room specific mods. We beat down the morons on our own, we took care of each other.

Petitioning to ban people? WTF?! I already CLEARLY STATED that I was not the one that EVER requested to have NYM banned. All I did was second or third it as MANY OTHER MODS DID.

As for "the truth" this issue has been addressed ad nauseum. I also already stated, if a member has issue with ANYTHING that ties to this particular situation they could email me and I would do my best to answer as I am tired as are 99.9% of the board members of this issue. Puc PM'd me last night. I tried to reply but his box was full. So I emailed him my replay late this morning.

It only takes 4 mods to get someone banned? How the fuck did I not get banned a 6 months ago..

Also, that number should grow proportionatley with the number of mods..

AT one time there were only a few mods, now there are like 7,000 mods..

I dont know fractions, but 3 out of 10 is a greater percentage than 3 out of 7,000........ (I think)
