I read that the realistic goal of losing 1-2 lbs of body fat a week is ideal without losing any lean muscle if diet is correct. My question is it possible to lose 3 or maybe even 4lbs a week of body fat without losing LBM or are you definitely going to lose muscle with 4 lbs of bodyfat lost a week?
 
to lose that much weight you're going to need to be in a pretty hefty deficit.. its going to be hard to lose 4lbs a week (without compromising lbm) if you're not majorly obese.. slow and steady wins the race :)
 
3lbs is possible with minamal LBM lost correct? I would rather lose the 1-2 lbs and keep the muscle but I am just curious to what is actually possible without the lose of LBM.

its still killer trying to lose 2 a week, without droppping lbm..

No. And you won't lose 2 pounds per week without losing LBM either. But if you eat and train right you won't ever see or notice the loss it's so small.
