Okay, so I haven't ANY idea who smalls is/was. I remember she posted that she had an IQ of 121 or something. That's the extent of my "smalls experience." I also know that some guy, litter4life, seems to hate her and I guess at least a few of the MOD's don't think too highly of her either.
I know, as I assume it's a fact, that she obtained a STOLEN passwd and violated the MOD board's sanctity. I am not trying to be sarcastic, people that have the presumption of privacy SHOULD feel violated when that privacy is STOLEN by a third party. Her and 68Gsomething's actions were WRONG. C'mon, can anyone really disagree with this?
I also realize, as a mostly bystander type, that a lot of people seem to live their entire LIVES on here. Smalls, was definitely one of those people. 14,000+ posts! This was a girl trying to protect her "online image." Whatever that means. How many of you are portraying yourselves in the best possible way? How many of you would prefer to keep certain aspects of your real life secret? Smalls made a mistake and went to desperate measures to prevent it from propagating. She is GUILTY of poor judgment and GUILTY of violating people's trust.
She has seen her, obviously, worst nightmare (online at least) come true. Keep in mind she really is a REAL PERSON, not some internet persona that you should so easily trash. The level of vindictiveness exhibited by people here is uncalled for. How can ANYONE you DON’T REALLY KNOW deserve such hatred? As for the MOD’s I understand you action, she is guilty, but I hope you can reconsider it. How much retribution is really needed? She has already suffered ridicule on two boards. It would appear that she lived a good bit of her life here, quite publicly, and that has been severely damaged. Now what remains has been taken away. I know, I know, “life lesson.” Whatever. It is so easy to claim such positions when we know we harbor no guilt ourselves. How often do we get to claim that moral high ground?
