Women were asked to access blame in a classroom situation on particular students. They accessed more blame on unattractive students for the exact situation. Pysically attractive people have the benefit of receiving bias in many, many, situations. Humans are pigs in general and not worth trusting, my accessment.

Dude, it's millions of years of evolution at work here. The person attactiveness is the number 1 way we have of telling if they are of good genetic stock. We have evolved to like to mate with very attactive people for just that reason, good genetic stock. Ugly and deformed people are Not attactive to us and are not pleasant to look at evnoking in us a sence of wanting to oust them from our circle.

But if a fat girl drops her drink, we all snicker at the mess she caused, and give her dirty looks.

Society allows attractive people (moreso on the female sex) to get away with a lot more, as well as getting many more advantages.

True. I remember reading somewhere that when cops were shown pictures of potential robbery suspects, the cops chose the weird, ugly looking people as suspects 13x's more often than they chose conservative, attractive people as potential suspects. Plus attractive people get lighter sentences at court (i can't remember my sources on either of those).

i think its about genetic stock, like polish boy said. Something about symmetry in the face, and whether you face is healthy looking.

I just learned how to do that a few days ago. Never wanted to ask anyone and I had forgotten a long time ago after my word processing class in high school. It's a very handy thing- like for answering questions you've already answered in other posts, you can find that old post, copy and past onto the new one, and Voila!

They've done studies where they've shown photographs of people of varying levels of attractiveness (facial symmetry) to babies and timed how long they gazed at each one. The infants consistently spent more time looking at the more attractive people. I don't think this is so bad though- I certainly look at attractive people more, and I let a chickie in last night without her ID because she was attractive and right as she said she didn't have an ID, she did this little hip twist so I could get a better view of her very nice ass. I don't know if she was even aware- probably was though. LOL. I said, "Nice move." and waved her in.

I already knew it and have read about it several times b4. There are several things that I know about humans that are unflattering as a result of studying their behavior and reading about human behavior. I don't like humans in general. I do have compassion on them however. Well, some of them.
