Hello Gang-

Just like a few of the recent posts - I'm also new here. A little about me - I'm 6'1" and am currently 225 - I'm guessing about 16% BF. I'm looking to stay around my current weight, but add muscle and lose fat. I have some very basic knowledge when it comes to diet - and know A LOT about training, but I'd like to get on a fast-acting cycle of gear and then stop and maintain. I'd like to get some advice from some of the experienced trainers (users) here on what cycle I should use - I don't want gyno, want to get down to about 10% BF (or less if possible) and stay in the 210-225 lbs range. I'm willing to purchase the elitefitness books if you guys recommend it - but once again - I'm looking for a diet and a cycle to do (just one) that will help me get there quicker (keep me motivated). BTW - I'm not a lazy ass, just getting older (35) and impatient! Thanks! P.S. - I've read the rules (again) and don't think that this post is a violation of rules - if so, please let me know ASAP and I'll delete the thread.

adding muscle and losing fat is all about diet.
if you have all your cardio and diet in check than the pounds should come off by themselves.
Use AAS and weights to build muscle
cardio and diet to burn fat
if its your first cycle than a simple test only cycle would work very well
it would help u build muscle and the more muscle you have the more calories you burn
but like i said your diet has to be in check to get the full benefits of any kind of training or supplements

Would a simple test cycle have any possibility of giving me gyno? (Also - dumb question from the newbie - what does AAS stand for?) Also - how much test and for how long?

Welcome to Plat!

Read the stickies, make sure you read and understand the rules very well...

If you have any questions, feel free to ask here...

Hopefully you idea of training isn't PT...
Alot of people such as myself think they know alot about training until they start reading MadCow and Ripptoe training philosophies. You find out quick you don't know sh1t....

Anyway I would start there with the madcow posts since he no longer posts here (or anywhere else from my understanding) and there's some good old posts from needsize about his modified madcow training. Those are good too.

Losing fat is about diet. Building muscle requires both diet and training knowledge.
