Another Motorcycle thread

Ok, a buddy of mine is getting rid of an Aprilia rsv250. I have the chance to pick it up mega-cheap (he owes me some cash).

My question is this: they aren't street legal, missing head/tail lights and directionals. How hard do you guys figure it would be for me to make it legal?

I'm ok with wiring and mechanical, but no means am I experienced or savvy.

Call Mototek Imports (512) 218-4466. They're pretty in the know with Aprilia's. They are an official dealer too. They deal mostly with 250's from what I remember.

Naw, it's cake. There are alot of Aprilia RS250's out there from the Aprilia Cup Series (a racing series where all bikes are RS250's and spec's are the same)

Thanks for the replies guys. I got a quote from a local Aprilia dealer. Looks like 300 bucks +parts.

So looks like another bike joins the r00+ family garage!

You're gonna love that bike. Is this a track bike? I've ridden a couple and all I can say is: corner speed. I love it.
