ANother MIcrosoft product crahes, screwing me over

almost done with a paper for school, it was t ough one so i was really focused on it, and of course didnt save.

positive its only a 3 pager

negative, kids notes from book were hard to read, book bounced all over, it was a pain putting it in a good order. that and it was due in today's calss right now that i skipped to do it.

im pissed right now, ill try doing it after my next class and try to get it to him before he leaves. this weekend is our fall break.

Which MS product was it? Office XP has an automated saving feature that will save a document if the application encounters a problem and has to shutdown.

I dunno why people are so against saving their work often.

I remember when I was in high school, the first thing they told us at the IT class was SAVE OFTEN.

In the end of the year we had this big test (or exam was it?), and the thing lasted for 5 hours or so. Then, about 10 minutes utill the deadline, one guy got a blue screen of death. The teachers came over to him, and one of them said: "Hey, don't worry about it. It's not that bad. When was the last time you saved?".
And the guy replied: "I didn't save".

What a dork.

Yeah I definately save everything as much as possible.. We had a 50 page project in college that got destroyed when the computer froze up and went down.. Learned that lesson for life...
