Another Immune system question

A friend of mine has mono and asked if I'd ask if there are any AS that are particularly beneficial to the immune system. He's on dbol right now and hasn't noticed much of a difference. What drugs boost the IS?

This is a tough call, but i wouldnt think any AS would boost the numbers or activity of T cells or B cells. Someone said Primo does in another thread, but id like to see a study of that before believing it.

Also tell your buddy that having mono will enlarge his spleen, so he should avoid ANY strenuous activity due to the risk of rupturing it and dying.

THIS IS NO JOKE....HE COULD DIE QUICKLY FROM A RUPTURED SPLEEN!!!

He is also very contagious....stay away from him.

i read somehwere tha anavar can improve immune function and can help repair small amounts of liver damage. i'm going to dig it up. give me a couple of days...

Anabolic steroids usually have a negative affect on the immune system...especially upon discontinuing them. That's why it's recommended to take a multivitamin in conjunction with them. I have also heard that anavar helps with liver detoxification. I heard this from a physician.

Would that be injectible anavar that helps with liver function? I can't imagine the pills having any beneficial effects on the liver.

I have also heard that about primo, but I do not see how that would help with mono. My freind had mono last year. The best way to get rid of it is rest and relaxation. Why us AS and lift hard when trying to get better should be your main concern. Tell him to get better first then do his d-bol and whatever else he wants to do. We need to remeber health is the #1 issue, all of our gains and progress and be taken from us in an instant please be careful. I just lost an assocaite who was 26 to a heart attack. Not AS related but he was taking pills(perks, vikes, oc80s etc...)! Seriously we all need to be careful and watch what we do. I love to party but we need rest sometimes as well.

Steroids like Primo are given to AIDS patients to help with deconditioning and muscle wasting, not to boost the immune system.

As for Anavar helping detox the liver....thats completely wrong.

Primo and Oxandrin will help with immune function ,,,but IV
Vitamin C and hydrogen peroxide in a drip works great,,,,,also olive leaf and colloidial silver...

Deca Durabolin has been given to patients for a long time to improve immune function. Deca is well documented for boosting immune function.

I believe that anaver has been approved for use in liver disorders in the USA a few years ago. I believe that the dose is up to 80mgs a day. I also heard that Rx anavar sells for about 480.00 for 100 20mg tabs.(Oxandrin)

hey doc...

i have a close friend who is hiv+ and is on oxandrin or anavar. the doc he sees agrees that anavar does help immune function. it does help with the liver as well. i'll see if i can look up some literature. are you really a doc or is it just a name...

Type in "oxandrolone" and check the results. Then try it again and type in "oxandrolone immune system" and see the results. The only stuff i could find on the first page had to do with muscle wasting. If you can find literature on boosting your immune system, i would like to see it. We can both be smarter.
