Another baking question: does it sterilize?

I had to transfer some gear from a sachet to a vial. I was careful when I transferred it, but one can never be careful enough.
Will baking the gear help ensure that the gear sterilized? Or does that just help with the BA?

"No. Although baking "helps", it is the filtering and BA that does the work in
sterilizing your homebrew. If your rear is still sore 2 days later, there is too much BA in the mixture. Most bros don't realize they can decrease the BA by adding BB and using in a 3:1 ratio. Your best bet is to dilute with B-12."
