Andy 13 and others - Keto Question

Andy, or any other diet/AS gurus:

You say that when in ketosis your body is using ketones for fuel so muscle is saved and when you do the carb up your body shifts to using aminos for fuel. So are you saying that the keto diet is better with no carb up at all so you are in constant ketosis and constant fat burning?? Or is this muscle suicide?
 
It's not suicide.. I've never heard of any non-diabetic messing themeselves up on a keto diet.]

The reason behind the carb-up is to enable you to continue working out with intensity. Glycogen fuels anaerobic work, without it, you would be benching the bar for 2 reps.
 
From what Andy has said in the past it seems as if it would be easier to keep muscle if you were just in constant ketosis.

I like eating high fat anyway, and keep my strength even when i dont carb up. Buuuuut, I am on a cutting cycle now and will not do a keto diet under Andy's advice.
