How long can anavar only be taken at 40mg a day? What are the pros/cons of being on a long time on anavar. I've heard of it affecting htpa and what not.

I agree....40 could get ya! I wouldn't recommend just taking anavar as a cycle. It is fine for when you are coming off and you want to stay on a little longer. Maybe run it at 20mg per day. Again this is just my thought. I am not an expert but I did find that 40 was too much for me and I had to stop and use clomid again. (I was using 40 after I finished a cycle)

The study that said it didn't impair LH was up to 25mg. But I remember reading that it didn't "significantly" impair....therfore implying that some impairment did take place.

I am on it 35mg a day by itself, 4th week now, got my sperm count checked and it was exactly the same as I started.

anavar is safe, it is even recommended to pateints having liver problems to HELP them with liver values. I'm running anavar at 40mg/ for 10 weeks, ive heard people can run it longer, im not sure for what. i belive Huck ran it for about 80mg/day, next time i do anavar, i would run it for 80mg/day. I belive this is the mildest steroid there is, no sides.
if your concerned about htpa, at low dose by mornings may not effect it much, but at doses of 40 and above, i belive it "alters" it. So it may suppress it but at a level much less than other orals such as winstrol/dbol or injectables for that matter.
I would go with 40-60mgs/day for 10 weeks. Maybe take a couple of anti-oxidents just in case, and yes run the clomid afterwards...Hey, better safe than sorry, and what can it hurt

oh yea, forgot to mention, anavar increases creatine absorbtion by an unGodly amount, so if your looking into an anavar only cycle, i would also use creatine. Everyone loves the strength they get with anavar/creatne combined, Huck loves that shit as well. I personally didn't go with creatine in this cycle of anavar im on right now, because i didn't want to get too bloated, and im also taking winstrol so i just want to get hard. But for a little bulk, creatine is great with the OX

Love the stuff. I get stronger on it than on d-bol or suspension.
i've used it for about 7 months
only stopped taking it because i got bored of it.
Intake was in the range of 50 mgr-120 mgr/day;
It definitly is the mildest steroid around. Saver then Primobolan.
The only drawback (which you do not feel or experience, only will know if your blood gets tested), it thins your blood. The more you take each day the more your blood gets thinner. At 120 mgr/day nose bleeds almost every day, sometimes twice a day.
No high BP, liver values can easily be controlled. Take a DECENT liver detoxifier, not a blabla thing.
For me Primo raises the BP (170/110), Iron Game had hair problems with Primo.
Why take it longer then 8 weeks. (I think 12 weeks is better), well you get the more ripped look which is good enough for me.
20 mgr/day could be a waste unless you have the Rolls Royce of the Ox like BTG's or Spa.
I think 40 mgr is the minimum to do. No point in taking 20-30 mgr of a mild roid and in your next cycle 1000-2000 mgr of Test.
