Anavar during time off from training?

What approach should I take?

I am in a situation where I'm going to be taking about a month off of training. I will train occasionally (maybe 2 or 3 times per week), but my focus is going to be on something else for the next 4-5 weeks. I am mainly concerned with gaining fat and losing muscle.

I am wondering wether it would be helpful to take 40-50mg of anavar per day during this period and also if I should reduce my calories so that I don't get fat. What should I do?

If you are going to be training 3 times a week, I would do the anavar at 30-40mg to help with keeping the muscle and eat at maintnance level, maybe a little below but not much. Just make sure you eat clean, i know when i slow down my training my diet seems to lag behind also. Good Luck.

AJC, it's hot overhere, just my opinion

M56 said it. Taking 30-40 mgr a day (i would go for the 40 mgr) will let you keep your muscles and gives some definition in the abs area.
I think only, if indeed you will be training like 3 times a week, even if only one hour.
So the key is not only your diet, the Ox, but certainly keep training even if only twice or 3 times for an hour.

Good to hear your opinions. I kind of expect to lose my appetite a little bit, but I wasn't sure if I should bother with the anavar.

I think I'm going to take Xenadrine too, to help prevent gaining bodyfat.

My main concern is not losing a ton of strength and muscle. I also don't want it to take a month to get back to normal once I start training 5 times per week again.
 
Take the anavar and eat normal if you want to focus on something else.

the anavar will keep you from going catabolic and you may even gain some muscle if you work out a little. Maybe even without working out. But who knows... it's only a month you are taking off.....
 
I have been on for over a year.........until now...I am in my second week of anavar only and I am fucking miserable. I am doing this 4 weeks max, then I am hitting it hard again.

This SUX!!

yeah bro if you are able to train 3 days a week, the anavar is a gret idea. Hell 3 days a week isn't bat at all either, infact it might help you out alot if your body is used to training 6 times a week. It is always jey to keep your muscles guessing.

A differnt program i have just started looks like this. 1 day - Back and maybe rear delts (basically all pulling motions) 2nd day. - Legs, abs, lower back 3rd day flat bench, dumbell shoulder press on a swiss ball, incline or decline chess press, and shoulder raises on a swiss ball ( basically all pushing movements)

Yeah...I'll definitely get to the gym at least twice per week if not 3 times. I'm not sure about the split though. I thought about just pounding the shit out of one body part each time even if that means only hitting everything once every 10 days.
