Anavar after Surgery?

I'm hoping to get some good feedack. My situation is this. 33 year old mlae Former college b-ball and football player. I've worked out constantly for about 10 years.. Then boom torn achilles..rehabed got upright then 2 years later boom back surgery spinal fusion as of Feb 07. I think I herniated the the l5-s1 disc because I tore an oblique muscle thus I had no support in that area. I've always worked hard in the gym and with rehab. Since I've been an "athlete" since I came out of the womb I know how to push myself. Desire and work ethic is not my problem. Well now it seems that I can't get my back or legs stronger. My body won't respond. Believe me its very depressing for someone that prides them self on being physically fit. I was always a 5 day a week weightlifter. I almost don't know what to do. Since these surgeries I've gained about 20 unwanted lbs...obviously since my legs arent there cardio is very hard...I can bike but no running. I've done mega research on the gear var and I'm wondering if anyone can let me know if it will jump start the muscle building and power I need to get back to close to full strength. In advance thx for the advice.

Ahh, luckily you can get var perscribed specifically for these reasons. Go see your doctor and tell them you just can't get your strength up because of your surgeries and your body is weak and you are losing strength and muscle mass. Then tell him you have been researching oxandrolone/Oxandrin and was wondering if that is a possibility. It's worth a shot, you'll get it for damn cheap cuz of insurance, and your doctor will keep an eye on you without you having to be suspicious about gear use.

If not this route, ask him about doing test C injections for like 300mg week for 8 weeks. Depending on how your doctor feels about it(steroids), he may or may not go for it.

have u ran any AAS b4?
I ran oral winny about 10years ago..good results but started to rely on nutrition after that cycle. I actually wonder if my injuries were a result of the added weight. I'm not looking to get big...I really just want to heal the parts of my body that are week. I've worked hard this last year and I can't seem to get anywhere..Like I said I think I tore a hip or oblique muscle that lead to the disc herniation. I'm pretty hard core as far as diet. I don't drink that much maybe 1x a month...no drugs. I just really miss the gym and the good high of a great workout. At this point I honestly feel desperate.

Id say plug away training conservative and continue your diet for a little while longer ... IMO getting as close back to your baseline before a cycle is ideal.

I feel your pain bro, falling off the injury tree and hitting every branch on the way down blows.

However; if you start saucing while too out of shape I think you may find yourself using AAS as a crutch in the future, thus plug away for at least another month or so.

Then run a mild cycle such as a var only, stay disciplined, run a good pct and you should be good to go.

Just wanted to say bro that recovery is very possible, although it takes awhile. I broke my L5 vertebra and blew the bottom three discs. I am fused from L4 to S1 from the first surgery and then they did another nerve root decompression surgery from L3 to S1. It took a lot of time and more pain and effort then I care to recall, but I am now as active as I ever have been in my life. I can easily run several miles without back or leg pain. I lift 5 days a week, etc. While I can't speak specifically to the var question, I can say with enough hard work and time you can beat this problem. Just watch for depression, when an athlete/active person goes through a devastating injury it can and often does hit, and depression will seriously reduce your bodies healing speed. I'm 31 and had this same type of surgery and I feel the best I ever have now, so it can be done bro. Best of luck to you.

Awesome to hear. Im currently getting back into shape after a 20 month layoff due to a partial pec tear that just wouldnt heal. IMO when your an athlete your body and mind develops different than a normal person ... because once you get out of shape the aches, pains, weakness, a affected confidence really IMO can affect you more than a normal person. Im only 21, and dont use AAS but am contemplating a run sometime next year ... well see though.
