Anabolic Newbie Questions

Hi All, I’m new to this site, but not to lifting.

I have been lifting naturally since 79, and I don’t know a dam thing about using gear.

I have some basic questions to ask:

How much muscle can some one retain after they are not on gear?

What are your suggestions of what type of products should I start with, if I haven’t ever taken any before?

When did you decide to start taking gear?

Personal Stats:
Weight: 190lbs
Body Fat: 14%
Height: 5’-6”
Age: 39

If you need me to give you more personal stuff, just ask.

How is your diet?

I would say start with something simple. Test and dbol maybe....the best thing you can do is hang around these boards and learn as much as you can before even thinking of doing it.

Knowledge is power.
 
there is more info here than you can shake it at just do alot of research first.and you will find answers to all your questions.
 
I know where to get straight facts of what each item does, but I am just finding it hard to get info on the questions that I first posted. Like how much muscle did you retain? Oh the hell with it, this all sounds like sudo-science with you being the Ginny pig, to me.

You can also use the search feature (top of page) to get specific info. I`m just learning myself but you`ll be told, different compounds do different things. Depending on your diet and training you will also see varying results. Newbies usually gain the most when using for the first time.

Keeping the muscle while "off" is also can vary depending on your post cycle regime. Too many factors involved to give numbers. Sure someone can tell you "20 pounds" but that would be taking A LOT into consideration.

Do a lot of reading and SEARCHING for what you want, and soon you`ll know the lingo and the right questions to ask.

My first cycle will be Test D-bol like the above bro suggested. I`m 35 years old. What are your goals?

OK, I’ll get serious.
I had competed in power lifting for a while.
For the past two years I have been doing strictly BB-ing routines, and I am still putting on size by just following the old school rule of Train-Eat-Sleep-Grow. So right now, I would not want to take gear, but as for the future, I just might. And like some have said there is a lot of information, and that is the problem, there is too much! And to make matters worse, it seems to me that some of the facts are mixed up with a lot of Quakery.
