An good idea for the board.....

A good idea for the board.....

In light of the controversy surrounding unusally high steroid dosage suggestions from members, I posted this in BOTs thread.

The idea will help *everyone* on the board assess the validity of the suggestions given in regards to possible steroid quantities used in cycles, not just newbies. If you have anything to add, please do. Afterall, this will help us all out :)

I had to put in my .02 cents.

I agree that doses seem high on this board. Considering we are dealing with highly bioactive substances that can have serious side effects, moderation would seem advisable.

That being said, I think every persons post should include:

1) age
2) weight
3) height
4) steroid usage history (none, light, moderate, heavy)
5) years training
6) *bodytype* -- this is key. If all the members advising heavy cycles are "hardgainers" , technically, they should be ectomorphs. Heavy steroid ectomorph users giving advice to unexperienced endomorphs is going to be *invalid*. Firstly, the 2 bodytypes respond differently to weights, similar steroid amounts, and high caloric diets. Secondly, the prolonged steroid usage by ectomorphs is going to reduce anabolic effects derived from steroid usage. Therefore, the validity of their advice to a endomorph newbie with no steroid experience, is questionable at best.

Sure, people have accumulated knowledge on how to tailor cycles to various body-types and goals, but the "experts" are few and far between. When people start consistently stating their steroid usage history, body-type, the relevence of the adivce posted can be better assessed and integrated into a persons hypothetical cycle.

Hopefully, itll cut out the incessant "Bump it up bro, 800/mgs a week wont do shit!!" , "Fuck dude, thats way too much, my buddy almost died on half that!!", "600/mgs week is bogus blah blah blah" all in the same post.

As well, youve got to realise, alot of the kids posting and lurking on the boards wont bother taking the time to learn about the various side effects of different roids. Learning to be an intelligent, educated roid user means having an intermediate understanding of biology and endocrinolgy. Most people, especially kids, dont have access too, or simply dont have the ability to pour over books for 6 months before their first cycle. This would probably explain the prevelence of gyno and depression on the boards (so i hear).

What do u guys think?

The rule of the jungle my firend is "buyer beware". We are not here to babysite but at the same time we do offer advice on what we think someone should do. Ultimatly it IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE READER to fully educate themselves and decide for themselves what they should do.

I agree with zygamail....it is buyer beware. Take all advice with a grain of salt. Double-check all advice you get and trust the people who are posting consistant information. A lot of these guys have no idea what to do with all the stuff they get. Do your research...use the search button and sort through a lot of crap but if you are not willing to put in time to research then you shouldn't be doing AAS anyway. My opinion only and does not reflect the views of management. Ha

BTW 5'9" 210 14% BF%

Peace...

Honestly these infos should be included by members who ask to critic their cycle. Otherwise how can I give an accurate advice without these stats ?

Yes. Educate. It's your body and your sole unavoidable responsibility.

Yes. Buyer beware. If you don't educate yourself, you will be just another uninformed buyer.

Yes. It helps people who contribute their time and effort to help others when they have relevant information from which to work, such as stats, history, etc.

No. It won't stop. People will just keep posting questions on issues they haven't taken one iota of time out of their 11th grade homework and go through the back-and-forth, question and answer routine.

Welcome to Elite Fitness...soon not to be the most controversial bodybuilding site on the Internet.

I think alot of u are right, all Im saying is including these stats in each persons signature on the anabolic board would allow people to *better* assess the validity of the advice provided. its not going to give them everything they need to know but its going to move them in the right direction.

But then again, mabey alot of the people will fudge the info. Mabey a hardcore and beginner anabolic board is required as another member suggested.

oh well, its their problem right :)

Personally I think that everyone should just complete their profile with their stuff, that way people don't have to keep writing stuff over and over, and people can just look at your profile...
