Recently there was a ranking on health care. France was number 1 and Italy number. I think they were making a cost-effective study. Basically Canada and the US were blamed for having a very expensive health care service compared to what citizens were getting (both private and public).

Better military ? You mean technology ? We could have a little debate cause other countries like France and Germany could bring arguments. Even England at some point. Training ? hummm dunno but the FFL are hard to beat.

Democracy, I disagree. It would be Scandinavian countries. Not that I like their politics but generally speaking we've always been years behind (voting rights, social security, referendums). My choice in terms of democracy would be Switzerland. A real confederacy. BTW with the Homeland Act and the constant abuse of the 2nd amendment I'm wondering if this is a real democracy.

Social mobility. Maybe. Bu that's true with most civilized countries today. You can find success stories everywhere.

These countries spend too much money on social services and their shitty healthcare system to afford a decent military. Without America Europe's days of being taken over would be numbered. In fact, most of the European countries days are numbered as it is.

If either of those countries wanted to attack America how would they do it??? They dont have the ability to project their military power to us without getting slaughtered before they came close.

and how are you so sure the US could easily invade France and/or Germany ? Cause they would outnumber them ? China too could, that doesn't necessarily mean they're superior. Higher technology ?

Back in the 60's/70's was the US Army the best too ? If so, how do you explain the Vietnam fiasco ?
