There was an appointment between my school and a private high school in Plantation Keys Florida that we would exchange students and have them make an end project together. they would come here for 2 weeks on march 28th and we would come there in May. They were very enthusiastic and it turned out we didn`t have enough exchange students to suit the demand, so much interest there was. email correspondance on this took place from october to now. my teacher had already planned a trip to florida via NYC to make all the last arrangements, the first week of 2003.
today the school in florida sent us an email cancelling the whole thing. many of the students dont want to fly and many arent allowed by their parents since theyre going to college next year and their parents need to money (about 600 bucks)
so basically, we all kept our holidays free, made arrangements, my teacher bought a return plane ticket which cant be cancelled and we all need a new plan to get this project done.
What lame reasons ! they could have known that from the start.
