Am I wasting my money?

Hi folks, I'm brand new to the world of bodybuilding - 2 weeks in so far! But I'm having good results, I have a very strict eating plan from my nutritionist and a good training plan in place...

I'm wanting to enter the world of supplements (for size gains) but quite frankly I find it all terribly confusing! The first product that was supposed to be a no-brainer is creatine. After researching this it seems the best to go for nowadays are the newer creatines - CEE or Kre-Alkalyne, but then I read a lot of mixed reviews as to which of these actually work or not... Anyone have any comments on this?

The other option I'm considering is an NO2 product called Dymatize Xpand which has recieved good reviews as it contains CEE among other 'synergistic' ingredients. Though I've only read about 'pump' gains and not actual size gains - size is indeed what I am ultimately after.

Then there's Tribulus (Alpha Male) and ZMA, 2-OxO etc. etc...

Anyway, assuming my diet is in check, my lifting is in check, lets say I were to buy some

Creatine Ethyl Ester (or Dymatize Xpand)
Biotest Alpha Male
ZMA
2-OxO
L-Glutamine

Am I going to see any size gains over and above what I am already doing without supps (I already take a good whey protein), or am I wasting my money?

- Or are some of these products and not others worth it?

Any advice on this would be much appreciated.

Thanks bros

Dump the ZMA and glutamine. Both are worthless. I can't speak for the 2-OXO, never used it myself or read anything about it.

CEE is probably the only OTC supp you should spend money on other than protien

Ya, I would say for now just stick with protien and creatine. Since your just starting off, your gonna get good gaines no matter what.(as long as your eating right). After you hit a plateau, then start thinking about other supps.

I agree and disagree with this. If you are eating a lot of calories(i.e Bulking) then ZMA is probably not gonna do much for you because you're probably getting enough of those minerals in your dietary consumption. But, if you are cutting and performing hard workouts you are probably going to be deficient in Zinc and/or magnesium, and ZMA can make a significant difference.
