So what I'm hearing, basically, is you're taking uppers all day, and downers to get to sleep?
I'm no doctor, but grew up in a pharmacy (parents were pharmacists) Yeah, I'd be conserned. Even if you're not physically addicted, it's got to be taking some toll. Especially in the crossover when half the drugs are telling your heart to speed up and the other half are telling it to slow down.
I took 1/2 ambien every night for a month for sleep and it was screwing up my thought processes in the daytime.
I had to get off that. I just take a half a tab of ambien now maybe once a month, and that works fine.
I'm not up on ADHD, but remember flipping past a medical show the other night talking about new treatments. Do some research, with new treatments, you might be able to get off the uppers. If you go off your meds, do it under doctors supervision and slowly. Don't stop that stuff cold turkey! Sudden change can cause a stroke.
