Ok, if finasteride (propecia/proscar) inhibits the breakdown of testosterone to DHT, what are the effects of taking it with an AS like sustanon? If the testosterone doesn't break down to DHT - what happens to it?

Less test broken down to DHT=more testosterone molecules reaching the muscle cell...The same applies to blocking off estrogen conversion...

So in essence you are doing yourself a double favor by using finasteride and nolvadex. Your blocking most of the bad plus pumpin more juice where it counts.

Exactly...Only I would use an anti-aromitase instead of an estrogen receptor modulator.Nolvadex does not prevent testosterone molecules from being inhabited by the enzyme aromitase and converted to Estrogen,it merely blocks these estrogen molecules from binding to specific sites after they've been formed.Arimidex will block the conversion process at it's root,preventing the testosterone molecules from the conversion process.This means more free-circulating test molecules can now bind with their targeted receptors instead of being rendered useless,anabolically speaking...
