I've noticed that I have a much harder time penetrating the skin with Terumo brand vs Exel brand....Tried injecting HCG in quads (2nd time quad injection)...
Exel went in smooth (the first time) with no effort and Terumo actual stung a little(the second time) so I didn't go all the way in and switched to glutes, but still had to push hard....anyone else used these brands or recommend a better (sharper) brand??

HCG in the Quads ? Why don't you use HCG in the areas in known for,abs,shoulders. I use Terumo brand and I never had a problem. Used BD too.

Won't shoot in abs until my insulin needles come in...and that's any day now....I'm shooting with 25g and hell no will I ever shoot in my shoulders!!!

Quads, glutes for oils.....abs for HCG or GH and that's it.......It's not that I'm having a problem, but yes Terumo are not as sharp as exel....

Ive used terumo and BD. Never had any problems. What gauge are you pushing in? I personally like 25g, slides in nice n easy.

i've used terumo and monoject pins at 22g & 23g. never had a problem with either. but then again...pins dont bother me god bless my fuckin' glutes.

yes, some panzies (did i say that out loud?) actually change needles after filling the syringe because the rubber stopper will dull it slightly too. i've always used BD (pick em up at rite aid no questions asked) 22g 1.5, but just switched to 25g 1inch and just started doing quad injections.

I have found the opposite. The Terumo always stick when going in or coming out, the teflon coating on the BD makes them slick as butter. I prefer BD.

I've always thought that, and wasted a lot of needles. But then I decided to try and see if it was true. So I used 1 needle for 3 or 4 different injections, after sticking it into the vial. Dont think it makes it dull, 23guage.

The only terumo pins I have had trouble with are the 5/8" 25g. For some reason I really have to stab myself to get them to penetrate my skin. So I never use those anymore. I use 25g 1" for everything now, except slin, where I use a slin pin.

Agree, gotta let that oil run, otherwise it sucks getting the needle in, kinda like B12.

I use Terumo and BD. Like Terumo better? Use their 25's by 1" and 5/8" mostly. I just use any slin pin, never noticed a difference. I do heat the syringe body and let some oil get on the needle. Only issue is if I hit a quad nerve. Ouch!

The second shot during PCT meaning 4 days after the first shot...yes it was a different needle...the first shot was with an exel needle and the second shot was with terumo....which tells me that terumo is not as sharp as exel!
