Alcohol -v- Steroids

Gee I dont know alcohol only killed 1,400 students last year thats not counting adults, Do me a favor and Name a single one that was killed by steroids student or adult... And I can go and buy alcohol at the corner market go home and drink myself to death and not break a single law in the process. Yeah id say the law is a bit fucked up.

I agree. The only thing (I think) that is more hypocritical than alcohol is cigarettes.

Alcohol isn't harmful i taken in moderation on an infrequent basis. You can't say the same for cigarettes.

Hell, alchohol and cigarettes wft.

What about Fast Food.

Obesity killed over 350,000 americans last year alone. Second to none. And the bad thing is not only can i go to any street corner and buy fast food for myself. My underaged kids can buy it too.

No that is fucked up.

yeah, but you can make the same argument for coffee, or marijuana or anything. AAS is addctive, as well as bodybuilding, don't say you dont get depressed comming off a cycle. You will have a better chance of seeing Alcohol and Tobacco illegal than AAS legal, though. Thanks to the know-what-is-good-for-you politicians in office.

I wouldnt say that AAS are addictive I dont think anyone here has to take a shot or they will go through withdrawls. AAS arent addictive but the results are.

You can't drink yourself to death with coffee. You can't smoke yourself to death with Mary Jane. It might give you cancer from years of abuse, but the government has said that's okay (by allowing cigarettes).

And AS aren't physically addicting, only mentally, same as pot and food. However alcohol and cigarettes are both mentally AND physically addictive.

I was just staing that this argument has been thrown around many, many times before(especially w/marijuana)...

ex.

"In 2000ys of use, there is no reported death form marijuana"

"Caffiene from coffee is an addicting chemical, why is it legal and not..."

etc. Of course I would love for steriods to be legal, it would cut out fakes and cut costs, but it won't happen. But alas, this argument will just fall on the deaf ears of the lawmakers.

Personally, I wouldn't want steroids to be OTC. I'd prefer to have them prescribed by knowledgable doctors and used under their supervison. There would always be a black market but at least we wouldn't be under the same classification as crack heads and heroin junkies.

Agreed, they should not be OTC. But to be a schedule III substance is nuts and was only classified as such in order to stop cheating in sports (like it helped).

And to prosecute individuals for possession of anabolics. Damn, don't they have anything better to do.

Shit I dont want steroids legalized either but dont talk them down so badly while there are othere more dangerous legal drugs out there for everyones use. One point that must be made is , yeah it is true that noone had died directly from the use of Juice or marijuana but you must take into effect the sideeffects of the drugs which may later lead to death, suck as liver cancer from steroid use which will eventually killy if diagnosed along with others and lung cancer with marijuana. Noone has actually died by shooting themselves with AAS as well as noone has died from smoking a joint, like liquor and other substances
