I've read as many past threads about this as I possibly can but I still have some unanswered questions.
I understands how it works. I just dont understand how to work it.
My diet consists mainly of protein from soy and whey sources as I am a vegetarian (health reasons). I dont get a whole lotta carbs but I am under the impression that that is when I need to take ALA.
Here's what I just did today for dinner. Please correct me if I messed up.
I had:
520 Calories
24g of fat
28g carbs
44g protein
I then took 100mg of ALA because of the carbs I ate. Is this right???
Btw, I should say that I am just getting over a medical condition that really messed me up. I laid in bed or on the couch for 23 hours a day for almost a year. Needless to say I have gained a significant amount of fat and the goal is to lose this.
I'm 6'0, 200 and before my condition I weighed 160. That gives you an idea of how much fat I;m dealing with here.
I'm working everything else correctly: Gallon of water+ per day, at least an hour of cardio per day 7 days a week, no sugar, total caloric intake is about 1500. The fat just wont seem to go away.
I'm turning to ALA outta desperation. Could someone please detail the way I am supposed to take this stuff including when and how much?
Thanks.
